International

SnapTrade has active integrations for major brokerages in Canada (Questrade, Wealthsimple, IBKR-Canada), the UK, and select EU markets. If you don't see your broker in the SnapTrade connect UI, request it — SnapTrade adds new integrations regularly and Norn inherits them automatically.

What if my broker isn't listed?

Two options:

  1. File a request. Email support@nornhq.com and we'll flag it with SnapTrade. Requests with more demand ship faster.
  2. Manual portfolios. You can create saved portfolios by hand — enter tickers directly, and Norn will run analytics, optimization, and AI research on them without needing a live brokerage connection.

Read-only, always

Regardless of which broker you connect, Norn only ever requests read-only scopes: positions, orders (as history), transactions, and account metadata. Trade and transfer scopes are never requested, so even a compromised Norn couldn't move your money.

NOTE

Broker permission screens sometimes list scopes with different wording ("read trades", "view account activity"). If any listed scope allows writes, do not approve — email us and we'll investigate.

See Security for the full trust model, or continue to MCP overview to use these connections from Claude.
